The Connective Spine of Southern Illinois: Exploring the Central Corridor
Southern Illinois’ Central Corridor runs along I-57, but to experience it fully, you have to leave the interstate. Stretching from Mt. Vernon , through Marion , and down to Metropolis , this corridor is the region’s connective spine.
